The new album will be executive produced by Dr Dre and Rick
Rubin, now if you have any knowledge of hip hop at all you will know that this is
huge.
So the song itself… its produced by Rick Rubin, samples
Billy Squire’s ‘The Stroke’ and gives more than a nod to rap pioneers Beastie
Boys, who were of course also produced by Rubin. The track like the title
suggests is berserk, its scatter gun, its schizophrenic and it will definitely get
stuck in your head. It’s a classic Eminem style single, not pure, straight hip
hop but it will get on the radio and will stuck in your head. As always if you
want to hear Em at his best you will have to wait until the album drops. This
is nothing new.
I’m a huge Eminem fan and even I’ve had to give it a few
listens but it’s starting to grow on me. It’s not going to reinvent the hip hop wheel
but it’s not supposed to. It gets on the radio, it gets in your head, and it
hypes the album…job done.
